New York Main Street Grants
HomeFront authors and administers New York Main Street Grants for Washington County Towns and Villages.
The New York Main Street Program provides grants to downtown building owners for up to $50,000. The building owner must contribute a minimum of 25% matching funds. Renovations may include façade renovations, interior commercial and residential building upgrades, and streetscape enhancements.
The purpose of the New York Main Street Program is to strengthen the economic vitality of the New York State’s traditional Main Streets and neighborhoods.
Municipalities are encouraged to contact HomeFront to schedule a meeting to discuss the program in detail. HomeFront staff will also present the New York Main Street program to town and village board members if needed.
